This position is an essential part of the fitness and training and performance teams, with responsibilities of providing high performance, strength and speed programs for youth and appropriate and effective programs for adults. The PT/performance coach will provide high level programming while utilizing researched methodologies to optimize training. The PT/performance coach must be proficient in communicating and administering these coaching services to all populations with opportunities with apparently healthy individuals, medical fitness populations, return to play and athletic populations. The PT/performance coach will use their knowledge of training methodologies and structured periodization to maximize outcomes, provide for members and camps, and participate in research for continuing education, aid community teams and sporting organizations. In addition, success will be achieved by providing excellence in customer service to guests and members of the center on a consistent basis.

Supports the integration of sports performance and medical fitness programming
Proficient with conducting educational presentations and seminars on performance related topics
Committed to providing the best services possible by maintaining current certifications, attending continuing education seminars, and reviewing industry literature on an on-going basis
Drive ancillary revenues through large and small group training, personal training, and specialty programming and testing services

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics or health care related field
Must hold current certification/s: American College of Sports Medicine, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, or certifications in area of Sports Performance or Lab Specialization Current BLS/AED Certification
Pass Federal background check
Fluent in the English language
Legal to work in the United States
Prescription methodology must align with program values and protocols of the center
Documented experience in leading, testing and coaching athletes and athletic organizations.
Excellent organizational skills, recording keeping ability and relationship development skills
